Don, before I discovered Zbasic I was going to purchase an educational developmenrt board from futurlec.com.au
for AVR chips
I guess this board will not work with Zbasic microcontrollers? if not is there anything out there with similar functionality ?
Best Regards,
Mike.

I didn't really have a partiucular chip in mind., Thanks for explaining all the work thaat goes into enabling a Zbasic chip. I had no idea it required that much work and I think the microcontrollers you have on offer would satisfy any project I come up with. What is native mode and VM difference ? M...

programming Zbasic into other Atmel microcontollers
Just a purely theoretical question; could the Zbasic bootloader/interpreter be programmed into more Atmel chips. I wish you would if it could happen as I'd rather use Zbasic than any othrer language.!!!

Useing Zbasic with other AVR microcontrollers ?
Hi,
I am wondering if I can use Zbasic with any chips I buy from Atmel ?
I will also use the stamp clones sold here but still is it possible to buy an AVR chip and use Zbasic ?
I love the VB like syntax, I would rather use Zbasic than Bascom AVR.
Sincerely,
Mike.

compatibility with the BOE from Parallax
Just checking, the parallax Board of Education is compatible with the Zbasic 24 pin module microcontroller? The BOE is cheaper and has a breadboard built in. Seems easier option than the Dev boards I see here! But if I bought a DEV Board here would it work with the 24 pin microcontroller and other m...

I have spent TOO much time at the other BasicX site. I also got confused and did a fgoogle search for XBasic (rather than BasicX) I got dozens of hits but seemed to me XBasic is used fior everything but microcontrollers. Please How Much is the Starter kit for ZBasic 24 pin, cables software ;the lot ...

question about a 4*4 matrix keypad
Instead of using 8 pins to connect the keypad, what is the cheapest module to use to connect a keypad to the microcontroller. What do you call it so I sound like i know what im talking about when i walk into the shop ?

No distributors in Australia
I have not come across any ZBasic products in Australian electronics mags I buy. Are you interested in an Australian distributor ?
