Native Beta Forum

This sub-forum was created for the purpose of discussing issues related to the native mode ZX devices. Because the forum is visible only to members of the Beta test team there are no restrictions on content.

I will post some additional information as we approach the commencement of the Beta test phase. In the interim, feel free to post questions that you may have

Just a quick message that I'm looking forward to testing ZBasic native support. I'm going to be interested in:

How it works and integrates with the base AVR and GCC facilities. This is important when it comes to extending it with your own C code.
The performance characteristics of the generated code and in what cases it improves. Not every application will need native mode code and performs perfectly well with the ZVM.
The supplied documentation.

Good luck with this new project Don. I have no doubts that it will work very well and be successful.
