ZX-24x Unregulated Vin

ZX-24x Unregulated Vin

The ZX-24x specs state 5-9VDC on pin24 Vin. The L78L33ABUTR regulator specs quote up to 30V, like others in that family. Why the 9V limit on the -24x? Dissipation?

Yes, just to be conservative. However, the ZX-24n is specified at 20V maximum. The same differential on the ZX-24x would imply an 18.3V maximum.
