Request for documentation in HTML format

Could we have zip files of the HTML version of the ZBasicRef and ZBasicSys made available?

I have no real intention of printing out either the ZBasicRef.pdf or the ZBasicSysLib.pdf. Even with having a good laser printer, it is rather arduous to get a complete two sided copy and I have to find a local service that is willing to bind them into a book form. I done this in the past with other programming books and then suddenly a new version is issued and I've got to start over.

While I realize some of this material is duplicated in the ZBasic IDE help screens, I happen to mainly rely on Ubuntu Linux and find that reading the PDF files is a bit tedious in terms of jumping around.

The optimal solution would seem to be to have HTML versions of both available. Designate the PDF version as 'printer ready' and designate the HTML as 'desktop reading only'.

Other alternatives are to go through the entire PDFs and build links similar to those that already exist in the HTML. At bare minimum, it would help if the PDF page numbering feature had a built-in offset, one wouldn't have to add the offset manually to get the right page. I wonder why bother with such if the HTML is ready.

As it is, using the HTML versions on line merely wastes a lot of your bandwidth and aren't available when I am using my netbook independent of the internet.

Thanks in advance for your thoughtful consideration.

There are links to .zip files containing both the PDF and HTML versions on the Download Page. The links are in the text of the second and third paragraphs on the page. However, you should also find both PDF and HTML versions on your computer in the doc subdirectory of the ZBasic installation directory, typically C:/Program Files/ZBasic/doc.
