64 bit windows

I remember seeing some posts on here regards use of 64 bits windows 7 with the IDE.

Whats the bottom line ? Does the IDE work OK and does the compiler and download work OK or should I use a 32 bit VM to do zbasic stuff ?

Both ZBasicIDE.exe and ZBasic.exe are 32-bit applications. My understanding is that Win64 will correctly identify them as such and automatically run them in a Win32 box.
