I Updated from 4.0.3 to 4.1.4 , now ZBasic crashes every time i click Serial Port Options ...
I am using a Mac with Parallels desktop and XP .
Anyone have this problem ?
( probably the problem would correct itself if i installed windows again but i really , really want to avoid that process .... )

I don't have an idea yet as to what is causing the problem. The 4.0.3 installer contained v1.6.2 of the IDE whereas the version in the 4.1.4 installer is v1.6.5. Although v1.6.2 of the IDE is not available separately at the moment, v1.6.3 of the IDE is available via the link below.

I needed to do a firmware update so i started up an old XP laptop that has hardware COM . ( I "fried" a brand new ZX24r when my MAC -> Parallels -> XP crashed during firmware update , i won't attempt that again with a usb serial adapter ...)
So i downloaded the newest 4.1.5 installer to the old pc . ( Thinkpad T30 , XP professional )
ZBasic works otherwise fine , but crashes when i click Serial Port Options .
( The instruction at "0x0042888f" referenced memory at "0x00002874". The memory could not be "read" )

Update --->
I installed the 1.6.4 IDE and it works !

We've made some changes to the Serial Options dialog code that may correct the access violation. We cannot confirm that this corrects the problem because we don't have Parallels nor OS-X. Please give this a try and report back.
