3.3V fudging

Post by stevech »

Anyone have experience on if the ZX24a (644) is reliable at 3.3V (DC in by-passing regulator)? Perhaps the quasi-RS232 is shakey but otherwise how does it go?

There was a thread a while back with some reports of successfully operating at 3.3 volts. See http://www.zbasic.net/forum/about548.html

half 14.7456MHz would be good, for 3.3V.
That other thread - I'd forgotten about that.

I take it from that thread that the quasi-RS232 interface works with most PCs down at 3.3 or less volts.
