Wish List: ZX128x with Ethernet. Preferably an Ethernet chip or module with IP/TCP et al aboard rather than a stack running on the AVR. The AVR side would be a fairly simple socket (several) interface: open, send/receive, listen, etc, with TCP or UDP. Perhaps use SPI to save I/O pins.
Would be a unique easy to program device for networking sensors, providing web server, pushing email or UDP or HTML to servers, etc.
Would be better and cheaper than Tibbo which I've read, is problematic and with the full-up version supporting floating point, etc, is pretty pricey.
Maybe an ethernet module such as from Microchip or WizNet (810MJ), in the range of $20@1ea.
