Compiler Update - v2.7.0

Discussion about the ZBasic language including the System Library. If you're not sure where to post your message, do it here. However, do not make test posts here; that's the purpose of the Sandbox.

Compiler Update - v2.7.0

Post by dkinzer »

There is a new installer available on the Downloads Page for the latest release of the ZBasic compiler, IDE, ZX Library and documentation. See the summary of changes for the compiler for more information. For VM-mode devices, a VM update is needed in order to use the SearchQueue() function or the shared Rx/Tx line capability of the software UART channels (COM3-COM6). The updated ZX Library included with the updated compiler contains these capabilities for native mode devices.

The ZBasic IDE has a minor change that addresses the growing list of ZX devices. In the 'Device Options' dialog, the combobox with device names now contains only a few devices by default. However, there is a button in the upper right corner that will bring up a dialog that allows you to modify the set of devices that appear in the combobox.

The Oak Micros website has been updated with the latest version 2.7 release. In particular you can download the 2.7 ZBasic Virtual Machine for your Oak Micros device from http://oakmicros.com/content/downloads/ ... re-Updates

Note that many of the Oak Micros devices are not in the default list and can be added. Use the arrow button to move devices into the default list.
